Leap Second provides more evidence for a young Earth

We are having another leap second, folks. The leap second is essentially the same thing as a leap year, except we are adding a second to the year instead of a year. This is because the Earth’s spin rate is slowing down over time. You can read the article here: http://www.skyandtelescope.com/news/home/36234159.html

The point here is simple. If the Earth is slowing down, then if we were to go back in time, the Earth would be spinning faster. If the Earth were billions of years old, this would amount to a spin rate so fast that life simply could not exist. The fact that the Earth’s spin rate is slowing down is more good evidence that the Earth is young!
