New APC Technology
The 4th Day Alliance Green Laser is produced with Automatic Power Control (APC) technology. APC is a special circuitry that measures beam power 30,000 times per second. If the beam is too strong, electric power is reduced. If the beam is too weak, electric power is increased. This leaves you with a stable, non-pulsating beam.

Other lasers don’t have APC. Their less efficient, inferior technology can only operate for a minute or so at a time before they must be turned off for a cool down. Failure to do so ruins the laser. Thanks to APC, all lasers sold at the 4th Day Alliance require no cooling period. Run them for hours at a time if you like.

4th Day Alliance Astronomy - Green Laser

Much more powerful than a red laser, a green laser can be seen for miles. Used at night, a bright green beam is visible as far as your eye can see. Point your laser towards the sky, and anyone within a 10 foot radius will be able to see exactly what you’re seeing. Used indoors, only the green dot is visible, making it a noticeable yet non-distracting presentation pointer. <5mw.

To watch this video, you need the latest Flash-Player and active javascript in your browser.

You can actually see the beam in real life! However, the beam will typically not look as bright as it does in this video because the camera lens is more sensitive to the laser beam than your eye.

3 Reasons Why You Need a Green Laser

Reason 1

A green laser allows you to visibly point out the stars since you can actually see the laser beam itself in a dark sky. This makes every night under the stars an educational opportunity.

Reason 3

A green laser is the quintessential tool for classical astronomy. If you would like to restore the ancient science of classical/visual astronomy and learn how to navigate and tell time by the stars, then a green laser is a must!

Reason 2

A green laser will actually be used! Many people become jaded towards astronomy because they bought a telescope that they never ended up using.
